How it works
The brake disk, which is usually internally ventilated in commercial vehicles, is firmly connected to the corresponding wheel. When the wheel rotates, the disk also rotates and passes through the brake calliper. The brake pads are located to the right and left of the brake disk in the brake calliper. They are pressed together when the brake is applied, pressing on the brake disk from both sides and slowing it down.
